Board of Directors: Linda Cuthbert

Linda Cuthbert sits at the helm of Breakthrough Performance, which provides training and facilitation programs to help companies and individuals achieve their business goals. With a focus in leadership development, employee engagement, communication, and team coaching, Linda and her team consistently bring  customized training that sticks and helps clients realize success.

Prior to starting her company in 2003, Linda was a managing consultant with the Canadian Olympic Centre for Training in Corporate Excellence, which specialized in organization development and corporate training. Previous to that, she held a variety of roles in sports marketing, broadcasting, media relations and event management.

Background in Sport

Serving as a Vice President on the CGC Board of Directors since 2006, Linda currently chairs the External Representation Committee, which is tasked with developing guidelines and strategy for the effective representation of CGC to external organizations, both on the global stage and within Canada.

As a former Canadian diving champion, Linda has dedicated much of her life to sport and feels duty-bound to give back. In part, because of the considerable role that the Commonwealth Games played in her athletic career; but also, because of the satisfaction that comes from helping Canadian athletes reach their full potential on the world stage.
